yo jamie!
Apparently, the most common topic that people searched for in the process of stumbling across this blog is the theme song from jamie oliver’s new cooking show jamie at home. so I’ll see if I can help with that.

here’s a photo of the artist (the other guy sans afro or hat)
theme song name: “My World” by Tim Kay (I’m fairly sure bout this, not postive*)
and here are the lyrics as I interpret them. enjoy.
take time to make yourself feel good
and you do whatever you want
cause you can now, in my world
make it up for losing so much time
cause you can now, in my world
the theme song is played at the very beginning of his show as well as during end credits. I also heard that a few more his songs are tucked into the podcasts on jamie’s website, free for download now.
Tim Kay sounds like a good guy. According to his myspace page, he plays free gigs at a hostel to raise awareness about homelessness related to a man named Tony who is homeless and tries to afford nightstay at this hostel. Good man, and good tune for the show and for jamie.

so I came across this site the other day for Miranda July’s new book which led me to check out her award winning film. I definitely sensed a theatrical background to the production - the pace was much slower, and there were some editing bits where I kind of got confused where we were, however I found pieces of the writing to be creative. I can definitely see Miranda doing art installation video pieces. She has such purty blue eyes.
if you actually get this far in this post, you should email me the word “ragatoni”, nothing more.

I read a blip from Speak Up (#7) which takes me both to this blog post and Flickr photo group.
The subject/photos are of stick figure signs depicting hazardous situations for, well, stick figures (us).
Then, I pop to threadless to check out winners of their most recent design contests, and I find this. Someone traced all of the “stick figures in peril” images and made a cool t-shirt design out of it. And because if my blog reading, I get to enjoy this deeper layer of meaning behind a new t-shirt.
