Lily’s so cute, er at least interesting, and her song is also so cute.  she’s up on stage with clean cut bangs, perfectly straight hair, a bit of a larger black dress on which is cooled out with white sneaker tops.  Smile is one of those repetitious songs that gets you hooked, but when you listen to the lyrics there is a bit of a bite to it all.

Lily has the online presence that most marketing gurus dream about, but it has been a presence filled with over-drinking, spats with cameramen, and an over all exhaustion from hitting the top so young so fast.  check her out - she tries to bear some guts across her myspace and webpage blogs.  Just like I bear 15% of my guts across these conan posts.

I really enjoyed this performance for what it’s worth.  Lily’s not stunningly beautiful.  She doesn’t bear magic, but just seems like someone to hang with.  and her crew is also cute wearing their matching polo shirts.  It’s like 7th grade jazz band, but dern good and with free cookies afterward.  but just like seeing mickey mouse pass out backstage at disneyland on a 90 degree weekend - there is a dark side to every cookie.  especially if it’s the trader joe’s chocolate dunkers - man those are good!
