I just wanted to put up a quick blip that I find it amusing that Of Montreal’s “Wraith Pinned to the Mist (And Other Games)” has been transformed into an Outback Steakhouse Commercial which is truly strange not only because of the commercial link-up, but because lyrics were changed and song was modified to fulfill a commercial.

tableside manners - what I can gleem from this is that apparently if you go to Outback, you can either throw your cell phone away before you enter, or, since that is unlikely to happen - no one answers their cell phone in an Outback Steakhouse. which is false advertisement, because I’ve been inside an Outback, and cell phones were answered (even at the *oh my* table).
close-up amusements are the addition of the dijerido and that the original lyrics
“Let’s pretend we don’t exist
Let’s pretend we’re in Antartica”
have been changed to
“Let’s go Outback tonight (read: let’s go out back tonight)
Life will still be there tomorrow”
which if song-lyric-analogy-logic holds true is pretty dern silly.
